桂 英史 Katsura Eishi
1959 年、長崎県生まれ。学術修士（図書館情報大学大学院）。 専門は人文社会情報学（図書館情報学）、メディア研究、芸術実践論。 富士ゼロックス情報システム、学術情報センター（現・国立情報学研究所）助手、 ピッツバーグ大学客員研究員（1991–1992）などを経て、 東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科教授（2009–2026）、同附属図書館館長（2019–2021）を歴任。 2020年、株式会社nenex創業。 せんだいメディアテークの事業企画、武蔵野美術大学図書館の設計支援、 航空会社スターフライヤーのデザイン監修、 メディアセブン（川口市情報メディアセンター）の指定管理運営（2007–2020）、 メディア芸術データベースの立ち上げ、 東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科ノンディグリープログラム RAM Association（2013–2026）プロデューサーなど、 文化芸術事業のインフラ構築に関する制度設計とコンサルティング業務に長年携わってきました。 Born 1959 in Nagasaki, Japan. Master of Arts (Library and Information Science). Fields of expertise: humanities social informatics (library and information science), media studies, and theory of artistic practice. Career includes Fuji Xerox Information Systems; Research Associate at the National Center for Science Information Systems (NACSIS, now NII); Visiting Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh (1991–1992); Professor at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts (2009–2026) and Director of its University Library (2019–2021). Founded nenex Inc. in 2020. Long involvement in designing institutions and consulting for cultural infrastructure, including project planning at the Sendai Mediatheque, design support for the Musashino Art University Library, design supervision for the airline StarFlyer, designated management of MediaSeven (Kawaguchi City Information & Media Center, 2007–2020), launch of the Media Arts Database, and producer of RAM Association (non-degree program at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, 2013–2026).
